Errata, corrections, and ballot comments published against a version
A published HL7 v2 specification does not stay still. HL7 issues errata and corrections against it after release, and the annotations view collects those notes for a version and links each one back to the section it corrects.
Annotation Types
| Type | What it means |

| Correction | A fix to the published text — the most common kind |
| Erratum | A formally published error notice against the release |
| Ballot Comment | A comment raised during the ballot for the version |
| Guide | Editorial or implementation guidance attached to a section |
Not every version has annotations. They exist for v2.2 through v2.8.1 — but not for v2.1, v2.8, v2.8.2 or v2.9. Membership is per-version rather than a cutoff, so v2.8.1 has them while v2.8 does not. Versions without annotations say so rather than showing an empty page.
