Quantity (Eu Lab)

This profile constrains the Quantity data type to use UCUM for units. When using the Quantity datatype, the unit is represented using a coded form with UCUM as the system in the code element. The human-readable textual representation is is captured in the unit element. If no suitable UCUM code exists, the code is set to “1”, and the textual unit representation is used. If both coded and textual representations are present, they need to be semantically consistent.
