The MFQ transaction allows a system to query for a particular record or group records (defined by the primary key) in a particular master file.
Note: The use of original mode queries such as the MFQ transaction should be deprecated in favor of conformance based queries as defined in Chapter 5. Refer to Section 8.4.6 for an example of a master file conformance based query.
