Definition: Retained for backward compatibility only as of v 2.7. This field contains the identifier code for the parent order which caused this reflex observation/test/battery to be performed. This can be based on local and/or "universal" codes. We recommend the "universal" service identifier.
ORC-31 - parent universal service identifier is the same as OBR-50 - parent universal service identifier. If both fields are valued, they must contain the same value.
