Your PHI stays on your infrastructure
OpenShare never stores your healthcare data. Traffic is end-to-end encrypted in transit, and even a relayed connection stays encrypted end to end, so the platform cannot read it. The optional PHI-free dashboard exposes metadata only.

Launch in the browser. Connect directly.
Open the Console from openshare.health and it connects straight to your own servers, end-to-end encrypted. Running your fleet, building channels, and monitoring are free forever. Connecting org-to-org — the Contact Directory, sharing agreements, and direct exchange — is free for everyone during the open beta, up to three partner organizations, and becomes a membership feature when the beta ends.
Launch the Console from openshare.health. It sets up the connection with signaling only, and never sees your data.

When the beta ends, pay only to reach other organizations. Initiating sharing agreements and connections across the exchange network will take a membership; during the open beta it is free. Receiving requests and exchanging with any paid member stay free, and every connection needs just one paying member, who can cover up to 20.

Cloud image networks meter your data and copy it onto their servers. OpenShare moves studies, priors, and clinical messages gateway to gateway, direct between organizations, with nothing in the middle that can read them.
OpenShare never sees your PHI
Every connection is end-to-end encrypted with WebRTC DTLS. OpenShare sets up the link and relays traffic it cannot read. Turn the relay off entirely for direct-only in the strictest environments.
Direct transfer, not a cloud copy
Studies and messages move gateway to gateway, direct between organizations. Nothing is stored after delivery, and your engine and all PHI stay on your own infrastructure.
They bill the study. We bill the bytes.
Flat, relay-metered pricing instead of per-image fees. A routine CT costs about eight cents to move over the relay, and direct transfers aren’t metered at all. One paid hub covers up to 20 connections, and each of those partners connects free.

This is the model for when the beta ends. Running your own servers stays free forever; a membership is what buys Contact Directory access and the power to initiate sharing agreements and connections — and every connection needs just one paying member, who can cover up to 20. During the open beta you get more, free (see below).

Reach out across the network with each connection set up and secured for you: send connection requests, use the Contact Directory and sharing agreements, plus 2.5 GB/mo of relayed transfer per server, then $0.25/GB. Never per study — and direct peer-to-peer transfer is never metered.
During the open beta you get more than the tier above — free. No membership is needed, and none is for sale yet: share and exchange, browse the Contact Directory, and connect with up to three organizations. Free includes 10 GB of relayed transfer a month; past that, data stops until the month rolls over. The pricing above is the model for when the beta ends.
